Swimming Pool Manager
The City of Friend is currently accepting applications for the Swimming Pool Manager position for the 2026 pool season.
The Pool Manager participates in and supervises the operation and maintenance of the municipal swimming pools; supervises lifeguards. Establishes and enforces pool rules and safety regulations; promotes swimming activities; promotes and maintains cleanliness of the pool and adjacent property; prepares and organizes work scheduled for personnel; supervises and participates in the maintenance of the pools including the use of pool chemicals; tests water samples and applies corrective action to be compliant with regulations; monitors and maintains pool filtration system; lifeguards when necessary; keeps records of maintenance; assists in hiring pool staff; receipts in pool revenues, etc. and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualified applicants must be of good physical health, must have or be able to obtain CPR, First Aid, and Pool Operator's Certificate Prior to the pool opening. Approximate opening is May 23, 2026.
